The Bresser Messier 150/750 Hexafoc EXOS-1 combines Bresser's most popular Newtonian optics with an equatorial mount on a steel tripod. Plenty of light, a wide field of view, and smooth tracking with the slow-motion cables: the complete foundation for visual deep-sky observation.

Parabolic optics with Hexafoc

The parabolic 150 mm mirror captures about 459 times more light than the naked eye. With a 750 mm focal length (f/5) you get a wide field of view for nebulae and star clusters and enough magnification for planets; keep about 300x as the maximum. The 2.5-inch Hexafoc focuser supports heavy 2-inch eyepieces without sagging; adapters for 1.25 and 2 inches are included. With the included 26 mm Super Plössl eyepiece you view at 29x.

The EXOS-1 mount

The EXOS-1 is an equatorial mount of the EQ-4 class. After alignment with the North Star, you track objects with the slow-motion cables. If you want automatic tracking later, an RA motor is available as an upgrade.
