The Vaonis Vespera II is the hybrid of a high-end telescope and a modern astrophotography camera: a fully automated observation station that makes the cosmos accessible, from your urban garden or under a dark sky. The 50 mm quadruplet apochromat with lanthanum glass and the Sony IMX585 sensor deliver detailed, color-pure images that you can even expand into panoramas beyond the standard field of view via CovalENS. Via GPS, plate solving, and astrometry, the Vespera II aligns itself and accurately tracks each chosen object. The Singularity app suggests the most beautiful targets each evening and shows live how the image is built. Multiple devices can view simultaneously: ideal for an evening with family or friends.

CovalENS: larger than the field of view

The CovalENS technology smartly shifts the sensor between exposures, thus building panoramas with a higher resolution than the sensor itself. Large objects such as the Andromeda Galaxy or the North America Nebula therefore easily fit into the frame. The built-in battery lasts a full night of observation.

Good for: those looking for the best price-quality ratio in the Vaonis range, with the same controls and app as the more expensive models. Not for: those who want the maximum out of resolution and storage; then look at the Vespera Pro or the new Vespera III.
