The all-rounder on the heavier EXOS-2: ready for astrophotography!
The Bresser Messier 150/750 Hexafoc EXOS-2 places the most popular Newtonian optical tube onto the heavier EXOS-2 mount. This makes it the classic foundation for those who, in addition to visual observation, also want to progress into deep-sky astrophotography.

Parabolic optics with Hexafoc
The parabolic 150 mm mirror captures about 459 times more light than the naked eye. With a 750 mm focal length (f/5) you get a wide field of view for nebulae and star clusters and enough magnification for planets; keep about 300x as the maximum. The 2.5-inch Hexafoc focuser supports heavy 2-inch eyepieces without sagging; adapters for 1.25 and 2 inches are included. With the included 26 mm Super Plössl eyepiece you view at 29x.
The EXOS-2 mount
The EXOS-2 is a German equatorial mount of the EQ-5 class with a payload capacity of up to 13 kg. With the polar finder scope, you can align quickly, and with the slow-motion cables, you can track objects smoothly. If you want automatic tracking later, the mount can be expanded with a motor set or the complete StarTracker GoTo system.

For whom yes, for whom no
Pros: anyone who starts visually and wants to keep the door open to astrophotography; the EXOS-2 carries this optical weight with ample margin. Cons: anyone who wants to automatically search right away; choose the GoTo version instead. Compare via the Buying guide. Meer Bresser is on the merk page.
