VAT and invoicing
Dutch companies and institutions You’ll receive a full VAT invoice with every order. You pay the standard VAT rate of 21% and, as a VAT-registered business, claim this back through your tax return.
Companies in other EU countries If you have a valid EU VAT number, you are eligible for an intra-Community supply at 0% VAT. Please include your company information and VAT number with your request. We manually verify each VAT number through the European VIES system. If the number is invalid or cannot be verified, we will apply the Dutch VAT rate.
Quotations and pro forma invoices
For larger orders, tenders, or internal approval processes, we can provide a quote or proforma invoice upon request. This is convenient for schools and institutions that need to have an order approved internally first.
Payment methods
Business customers can pay via iDEAL, Bancontact, or a SEPA bank transfer in euros. For universities, research institutions, and public institutions within the EU, ordering on invoice with deferred payment is possible, following prior consultation.
Education, rental and demonstration
For schools, we have a separate offering regarding smart telescopes in the classroom: view the page Education & Smart Telescopes. Would you like to use a telescope temporarily first, for example for a project or event? That is possible through our rental service. Collaboration and partnership
In addition to delivering to end customers, we are open to partnerships with manufacturers, developers, and providers of products or services that complement our range. We also invite organizations that want to strengthen science, education, or experiences with astronomy to contact us.
