The Zoomion 50 mm AZ The Spaceboy 500 AZ is a compact refractor telescope for young explorers and beginners. The azimuthal mount moves like a camera tripod: up, down, left, and right. It doesn't get any simpler than that, and that's exactly what a first telescope needs.

Sharp image of the Moon and bright planets

The 50mm objective lens and 500mm focal length (f/10) show sharp images of the Moon, Jupiter, and Saturn. The erecting lens and 90-degree diagonal mirror provide an upright image, making the viewer also useful during the day for nature observation, from birds to a distant church tower.

Start directly

The 20mm and 12.5mm eyepieces provide 25x and 40x magnification; realistically useful is up to about 100x, twice the aperture in millimeters. The lightweight tube and steel tripod are ready in minutes. Everything you need is in the box.

With the Omegon Smartphone Adapter 25 to 48 mm (14.90 euros) you take your first moon photo through the eyepiece. The bright Moon requires short shutter speeds, so the lack of tracking plays no role there.
