Omegon Horizon AC 90/650 3.5" Achromatic Refractor: More Aperture in a Modern Package
The Omegon Horizon AC 90/650 is the largest model in the Horizon line: 90mm aperture and 650mm focal length (f/7.2). More light and a wider field of view than the 70mm models, with the same complete equipment including smartphone adapter and Bluetooth remote release.
The Horizon accessory package is more complete than usual in this class: LED finder, 25 mm and 10 mm Plössl eyepieces, 2x Barlow lens, 90-degree Amici prism for an upright and laterally correct image, extension tube, smartphone adapter, and a Bluetooth shutter release for vibration-free photos.

90 mm and a Crayford on ball bearings
The 90 mm lens captures approximately 165 times more light than the naked eye: the entire Moon in one go, bright nebulae and star clusters, and sharp planetary detail. The Crayford focuser runs on ball bearings, without play, allowing for smooth focusing even at higher magnifications.
With the Plössl eyepieces, you view at 26x and 65x; with the 2x Barlow, up to 130x. That's also about the limit of the useful range for this f/7.2 achromat: beyond that, color fringing becomes visible.

Featured accessories
An Omegon Premium moon filter 1.25 inch (€19.90) dims the bright Moon, which truly shines with a 90mm aperture. The Omegon UWA 15mm eyepiece (€59) provides 43x magnification with a wide-angle field of view of 66 degrees.
Never look at the sun through a telescope without a certified solar filter: this will cause permanent eye damage within a second.
For whom yes, for whom no
Recommended for: anyone who wants the complete modern setup with the widest aperture for sky, nature, and smartphone photos. Not for: anyone primarily looking for high magnification on planets; a Maksutov like the MightyMak 90 or a long-focal-length brand model like the 90/1000 EQ-2 would be a better fit.
