The app as a personal guide
The StarSense Explorer app uses plate solving: the phone camera recognizes star patterns and precisely determines where the telescope is pointed. Choose an object from the list, follow the arrows, and when the indicator turns green, look. The app provides explanations, images, and even spoken descriptions. Ideal for families and for anyone looking for their first real telescope.
Parabolic f/5 mirror: lots of light, compact size
The 130mm mirror with a 650mm focal length offers a bright and wide field of view. You can see the Orion Nebula, the globular cluster M13, and the Andromeda Galaxy, in addition to sharp images of the Moon and planets. The 25mm and 10mm eyepieces provide 26x and 65x magnification, respectively. Magnifications up to approximately 260x are realistically usable. Thanks to the parabolic mirror, stars remain point-like even at the edge.
Tabletop Dobson: Set up and look
The wooden table mount rotates smoothly in height and direction. Place the telescope on a sturdy table or a crate, and you're ready to go. Weighing around 8 kg, you can carry it outside in one go. The accessory tray with a handle keeps eyepieces within easy reach.
Self-collimate with the included hood
Every Newton mirror needs a little alignment now and then. The included collimation cap makes it a two-minute job. This way, you get the most out of the optics permanently. The 1.25-inch focuser accepts all common eyepieces and filters, so the telescope grows with you.
