Omegon Pro APO AP 85/560 Refractor - Portable precision for demanding astrophotographers
The Omegon Pro APO AP 85/560 is a compact, high-quality apochromatic for those who want to take sharp, high-contrast astrophotos. You can easily take it with you on trips, to dark locations or just out into the garden. Despite its handy size, it delivers top-level images.
Triplet ED optics with Japanese OHARA glass
The triplet lens with FPL-53 glass ensures true-to-life colors and high contrast. Stars remain dot-shaped, right to the edge of the image. Even at high magnifications, the image remains calm and sharp. This allows you to see fine details in planets, star clusters and nebulae that are quickly lost in other systems.

More sharpness through clever optical design
Refractors have no central obstruction. You notice this immediately. Details jump out and subtle contrast differences remain visible. This makes this apo particularly suitable for both visual observation and astrophotography.
2″ hybrid Crayford focuser with 1:10 micro focus
The focuser feels smooth and remains stable even with heavier cameras up to 6 kg. With the coarse focus, you're quickly in the right place. With the 1:10 micro focus, you refine the image down to the smallest details. This keeps your focus exactly where you want it, even in long exposures.

Flexible and user-friendly
The focuser accepts 2″ and 1.25″ accessories. You can easily use eyepieces, adapters or cameras. The focuser is rotatable, so you always align your camera perfectly.
CNC tube for maximum image quality
The metal CNC-fabricated tube is internally coated with velvet black fabric. This prevents distracting reflections and increases contrast. The retractable dew hood stops condensation and slides in for transport. At only 44 cm long, you can easily take this telescope with you on astro trips.
Our tip
This 85 mm apo is ideal for traveling astrophotographers who want top quality without a heavy setup. Combine it with a suitable flattener for a perfectly flat field of view.
