The Omegon Pro APO AP 85/560 The premium version in the 85 mm class: a triplet with Japanese OHARA FPL-53 glass, the reference material for apochromats. An apochromat converges all colors to a focal point. Stars remain white and point-like, without the purple edges of simple lenses: precisely what a camera sensor would mercilessly reveal.

Without obstruction, with full contrast

A refractor does not have a focusing mirror in the light path. All the contrast that the optics provide is also captured by the eye or sensor; fine planetary details and faint nebula structures that fade away in mirrored systems remain visible here.

The hybrid Crayford-focuser provides sharp focus with any camera or heavy eyepiece. The 2/1.25 inch adapter, CNC tube rings, retractable dew point cap, and aluminum transport case complete the package.
