Bresser Messier N 130/650 - 130mm Dobson

Compact, complete, and ready to go: the 5-inch table-top Dobsonian from Bresser!

The Bresser Messier N 130/650 is a compact 5-inch (130 mm) tabletop Dobsonian for beginners and families. You place it on a sturdy table or a low wall, aim it at your target, and observe. There's no mount to align and no electronics to set up. With the included eyepieces, moon filter, and solar filter, you can get started right away.

130 mm optics: a lot of telescope in a tabletop size

The 130mm main mirror captures about 345 times more light than the naked eye. With it, you can see craters on the Moon, Saturn's rings, Jupiter's moons, and bright deep-sky objects like the Orion Nebula and the Pleiades. The 650mm focal length (f/5) provides a wide field of view. This makes finding objects easy, especially for beginners.

The 1.25-inch focuser accepts standard eyepieces and filters. With the 25mm eyepiece, you get 26x magnification for an overview. The 9mm eyepiece provides 72x for the Moon and planets. The maximum useful magnification is around 260x.

Also during the day: safe solar viewing

The included objective solar filter covers the full aperture. With it, you can safely view sunspots and partial solar eclipses. Use the filter only if it is undamaged and follow the manual.
