Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer GTi with Tripod: The Complete Mobile GoTo Set
This set turns the Star Adventurer GTi into a ready-to-go mobile observatory. The equatorial GoTo mount can carry up to 5 kg: a DSLR or mirrorless camera with a telephoto lens, a small refractor, or a compact astrocam setup. Using the SynScan app on your phone or tablet, you choose an object, and the mount automatically slews to it and quietly tracks it.

The built-in illuminated polar scope makes alignment quick and repeatable. Adjustable tracking speeds for stars, the moon, and the sun maximize every shot, and the ST-4 port supports autoguiding for long exposures. Power is supplied via eight AA batteries or an external 12V source.
Included
- Star Adventurer GTi mount head with built-in WiFi
- Stand with column extension
- Counterweight pliers (Ø20 mm)
- Counterweight of 2.3 kg
- Illuminated polar finder
Featured accessories
Those who want physical control alongside the app can connect the optional Sky-Watcher SynScan GoTo Handcontroller.
For whom yes, for whom no
For astrophotographers looking for a complete, lightweight GoTo setup for travel and backyard use, with a camera or small APO. Not for those who want to carry heavier optics or build a permanent setup; look at the EQ-AL55i or HEQ5 Pro.
