Omegon Zenith mirror 90° 2 inch 99% dielectric is a high-quality star diagonal for anyone who wants to get the most out of their telescope. Thanks to the multilayer dielectric coating with 99% reflection, you hardly lose any light. That means up to 10% brighter images than with standard aluminum-coated mirrors - ideal for deep-sky objects and subtle planetary details.

The 90° viewing angle makes observing comfortable even when objects are high in the sky. The mirror delivers a sharp, high-contrast image and utilizes the full aperture of your telescope. Even wide-angle 2” eyepieces are fully exposed, without vignetting.

Mechanically, the zenith mirror is robustly built with black-silver finish. Eyepieces are secured securely and scratch-free with the ring clamp. In addition, a 2” to 1.25” adapter is included so you can also use your existing 1.25” eyepieces.

A dielectric coating is not only brighter, but also more durable: the reflection layer does not wear out when cleaned and maintains the same performance for years.

Application

Ideal for astronomical observations of the moon, planets and deep-sky objects, where brightness and contrast are of great importance. Not suitable for terrestrial observations, as the image remains mirrored.
