Sky-Watcher Skyliner-350P FlexTube: 14 inch for the serious deep-sky hunter

What do you see through the Skyliner 350P?
Dark matter filaments in galaxies, color fringing in bright planetary nebulae, globular clusters like grains of sugar down to the core. On planets, a large aperture with good seeing delivers astonishing detail: fine structure in Jupiter's bands, subtle hues on Saturn. Each increment in aperture above 12 inches yields visibly more depth, provided the sky is dark enough.

This is how to get the most out of this telescope
- To them, in part: Buoy 23.5 kg, rocker box 26.5 kg: this is a two-person telescope for stairs or long distances. Plan the route to your observation location accordingly.
- Close the open section: A light shroud around the extended truss keeps stray light and dew out. The standard upgrade for FlexTube models.
- Allow for at least an hour to cool down For the large mirror, especially in winter.
- Collimation at f/4.5 is a fixed ritual on transport; our guide to collimation It takes two minutes.
- For planets: a 6 mm planetary eyepiece gives 267x, for the best nights; this mirror size can handle that well on good nights.

Hello the experienced visual observer with a fixed dark spot or a car with space, who knows why every inch of opening counts.
Not As a first telescope or when in doubt about the weight, start with the Skyliner-200P Classic and growth awareness. If you want to automatically search on this scale, there is the 350P SynScan GoTo version. Astrophotography with long exposures belongs to the smart telescopes.
