Omegon Moon Filter 13%, 1.25-inch Transmission: for large apertures and the full moon
With a large telescope, the moon can be so bright that observing becomes downright unpleasant. This filter only allows 13 percent of the light through. This provides visual comfort and makes craters and fine structures more visible, without making the moon's color unnatural.
The strong dimming is intended for telescopes with an aperture of approximately 200 mm and for observation around the full moon. On a smaller telescope, the image quickly becomes too dark with this filter; choose the 25 percent version for those.

Features
- Transmission 13 percent
- Neutral color rendering
- Aluminum vatting
- Standard 1.25 inch thread
Compatibility
Screw the filter into the eyepiece. For telescopes up to approximately 4.9 ft (150 cm), 25 percent is the better choice. Which filter fits which aperture can be read in our Moon filter guide.
