Omegon Pro 104/650 APO Refractor OTA + 2" Field Flattener: The Flagship, Fully Corrected
The Omegon Pro APO AP 104/650 with Field Flattener is the complete execution of the 104 mm triplet: the same OHARA lens with FPL-53 and FPL-51 elements, but with a matching 2-inch field flattener, 1.25/2-inch adapter, and aluminum carrying case included. Unpack, set up, photograph: the field is flat right to the corners.
An apochromat converges all colors to a focal point. Stars remain white and point-like, without the purple edges of simple lenses: precisely what a camera sensor would mercilessly reveal.

2.9-inch dual speed with flattener on the train
The hybrid focuser carries the flattener plus camera without slipping and focuses at the micrometer level via the 1:10 reduction. Because the flattener is calculated for this lens, corner stars remain round, even on full format.
Compared to mirror systems, the unobstructed light path provides more contrast for fine detail differences, which is precisely what makes nebulae structures and dust lanes visible.

For whom yes, for whom no
For: advanced astrophotographers who want a complete flagship: optics, corrector, and case in one purchase. Not for: those who already have the corrector; the bare 104mm Triplet is two hundred euros cheaper. Doubting between models? The Choice assistant helpt. More Omegon is on the merk page.
