Omegon 130/920 Newtonian EQ-2: the largest mirror in the classic EQ line
The Omegon 130/920 Newton EQ-2 has the largest mirror in the classic line: 130 mm, good for about 345 times more light than the naked eye and some 30 percent more than the well-known 114 mm models. You can see that difference immediately in brightness and contrast, from lunar craters to the Orion Nebula.
A Newtonian reflector works with mirrors instead of lenses: large aperture for little money and a color-aberration-free image. Occasional collimation (aligning mirrors) is part of it; that can be done in a few minutes.


37x to 184x with the included set
With the 25 mm and 10 mm eyepieces, you view at 37x and 92x; the 2x Barlow doubles this to 74x and 184x. The practical maximum of this aperture is around 260x, so there is room for growth with additional eyepieces.
The 920 mm focal length (f/7.1) balances field of view and magnification: wide enough for nebulae, sharp enough for planets.

EQ-2 with red dot finder
The parallactic EQ-2 tracks objects with a rotary knob, and the red-dot finder makes aiming easy. If you want an even steadier image, check out the 126/920 on the EQ-3: it has slightly fewer mirrors and a slightly heavier mount.
