Omegon 110/660 Pro APO ED Carbon OTA: maximum aperture on carbon fiber
The Omegon 110/660 Pro APO ED Carbon is the largest of the carbon line: 110 mm aperture with FPL-53 and S-NBM51 glass in a thermally stable carbon tube weighing only 4.8 kg. Bright at f/6, portable enough for mobile setups and stable enough for observatory use.
An apochromat converges all colors to a focal point. Stars remain white and point-like, without the purple edges of simple lenses: precisely what a camera sensor would mercilessly reveal.

Carbon Plus Power Linear Crayford
Carbon expands or contracts very little with temperature changes: the focus point stays where you set it at night. The 2.7-inch Power Linear Crayford with 1:10 micro-adjustment can handle heavy camera setups and rotates 360 degrees for the correct field of view.
Aluminum transport cases and adapters are included; visually, this tube with its unobstructed 110 mm is also an excellent contrast viewer for planets and double stars.

Featured accessories
The Omegon Pro UHC 2-inch filter (€89) brings out emission nebulae. Visually, the Omegon Cronus 7mm eyepiece (€79) delivers a high-contrast 94x magnification, and the Omegon Powerbank 10k 12V (€39.90) powers the setup on the go.
For whom yes, for whom no
Ideal: for those who want the largest aperture in a light, thermally stable package for photo and visual. Not for: those who require triplet color correction on full format; the 104/650 with flattener or the 108/600 Quintuplet are then the more photographically precise choices. Doubting between models?
