Ten inch foldable: large mirror, small transport size

The Levenhuk New Skyline PRO 10 inch Retractable It gives you the same 254 mm parabolic optics as the fixed PRO 10, but in a collapsible truss tube. For transport, the front slides in, allowing the telescope to fit into virtually any car trunk. With 1317 times more light than the naked eye, the observation result remains identical to the full tube.

Retractable: The Practical Surcharge

Sliding out, locking, briefly collimating with the included tools, and looking: setup takes a few minutes. The primary mirror cooling and 8x40 finder are also part of the PRO equipment here. A light-tight shroud around the open truss is a sensible later addition for urban locations.

For whom yes, for whom no

Yes: for those who want to look at ten inches and regularly drive to dark locations or store compactly. No: for those who almost always use the telescope in the same place; the fixed PRO 10 is then more cost-effective.
