The Levenhuk New Skyline PRO 10-inch Combines a 254 mm parabolic aperture with a 1270 mm focal length: 1317 times more light than the naked eye. Almost every Messier object shows detail, coma holes dissipate, and on the planets structure appears that smaller viewers miss. The main mirror cooling and the 8×40 optical viewfinder are included in the PRO equipment.

PRO equipment standard

The cooling fan quickly brings the large mirror to temperature; the 8×40 viewfinder also shows fainter target stars. The Plössl eyepieces of 25 mm and 10 mm deliver 51x and 127x; on paper, up to about 508x is feasible; the Dutch atmosphere usually allows about 300x; for deep-sky objects, the light gain is especially important, and it is considerable.

For the advanced observer or ambitious beginner who buys right the first time and can store and lift the full tube. Not for those with limited transport space; then choose the Retractable version with foldable truss.
