10 inch ProDob with sight navigation: the Radiant!
The Omegon ProDob 254/1250 DOB II Radiant combines the 10-inch deep-sky powerhouse with the Radiant finder scope: aiming circles on the real sky, navigating with both eyes open, exactly as your star chart shows.

254 mm optics with fan
The 254 mm parabolic mirror with built-in fan cools quickly and then shows its full sharpness. With the SWA 32 mm eyepiece, you view at 39x with a wide field of view; practical use is up to approximately 350x, depending on the atmosphere.
Follow without jolts
The deluxe friction and bearing system is the main difference from standard Dobsons: the axes move with adjustable resistance, ensuring the image stays precisely where you place it, even at high magnifications and with heavy eyepieces. The 2-inch Crayford with 1:10 fine focus achieves micrometer-precise focusing, and the included SWA 32mm 2-inch wide-angle eyepiece provides a generous overview image right away. The Radiant Finder projects aiming circles onto the sky, making star-hopping to faint nebulae surprisingly easy.

For whom yes, for whom no
For: observers who want to look at high magnification for a long and comfortable time; this friction system is made for that. Not for: those who buy purely on price; the Advanced X-line offers the same apertures more affordably with simpler mechanics. Compare on the Dobson page via Buying guide. Meer Omegon stands on the merk page.
