Omegon Pro RC 154/1370 OTA: the carbon version of the entry-level RC
The Omegon Pro RC 154/1370 in carbon version, the lightest route to true RC photography: 154 mm hyperbolic optics (f/8.9) in a thermally stable carbon fiber tube with 2-inch linear bearing focuser and tilt adapter. The internal stray light baffles keep contrast high, even with the Moon above the horizon.
A Ritchey-Chrétien uses two hyperbolic mirrors: the design of virtually every professional observatory. The result is a large, coma-free field of view without a corrector: stars remain round all the way to the edges of the sensor.


Linear bearing and tilt: made for the camera
The ball-bearing linear bearing focuser combines the smoothness of a Crayford with the load capacity of a rack-and-pinion focuser: no sagging under a full camera train. With the tilt adapter, you align the sensor exactly perpendicular to the optical axis; the difference between good and perfect corner stars.
The carbon fiber tube holds the focus point when the temperature drops at night and the Losmandy dovetail clamps wide and stable.
