Triplet ED optics with Japanese FCD-100 glass
The heart of this telescope is the triplet lens with Hoya FCD-100 ED glass. This glass has an extremely low color dispersion. That means: no annoying purple edges and stars that remain truly white. Nebulae, galaxies and planets come into focus clearly and faithfully, even at high magnifications. This keeps your images sharp from center to edge.
More contrast, less stray light
The inside of the tube features smart light shielding. Reflections are not given a chance. As a result, you can see faint details better and dark areas remain really dark. You notice this immediately, both visually and on your recordings.
2.5″ hybrid focuser for heavy-duty cameras
The large 2.5-inch focuser combines Crayford technology with a rack and pinion. This feels smooth and remains stable even with heavy camera setups up to 10 kg. The 1:10 microfocus lets you focus with extreme precision. So your focus is just right, even in long exposures.
Smart design for on the go and on the mount
The integrated carrying handle fits comfortably in the hand and simultaneously serves as a mounting rail for additional accessories, such as a tracking scope. The telescopic dew hood keeps condensation out and slides in for transport. Everything feels solid and well thought out.
