Omegon 106 mm Triplet Refractor: Portable Power with 3.5-inch Focuser

The Omegon 106 mm Triplet Combines Hoya FCD-100 glass, similar to fluorite, with the heaviest focuser in its class: a 3.5-inch with M63 thread that carries camera trains up to 10 kg. With a 700mm focal length (f/6.6), this is an instrument for both deep-sky photography and planetary detail.

An apochromat converges all colors to a focal point. Stars remain white and point-like, without the purple edges of simple lenses: precisely what a camera sensor would mercilessly reveal.

Carrying handle and mounting rail in one

The handle on top also serves as a mounting rail for a finderscope or accessories: a smart dual-use that speeds up setup. The super-smooth 1:10 micro focuser allows for precise focusing, even with a heavy camera setup.

With a retracted tube length of 560 mm, it remains surprisingly compact at 106 mm for mobile use.
