The Bresser Messier 203/800 GoTo is the complete astrophotography package in the Messier line. Its fast f/3.9 optics, the automatically tracking GoTo mount with ST-4 autoguider port, and the included T2 adapter together form a direct launchpad for deep-sky photography.

Fast 8-inch optics

The parabolic 203 mm mirror collects over 800 times more light than the naked eye. With a 800 mm focal length (f/3.9), you capture a lot of signal in a short exposure time. The tube is prepared for a 10:1 fine focus reduction and a coma corrector. The included objective solar filter also allows for safe solar observation. Only use the solar filter if it is undamaged and never look at the sun without certified protection.

StarTracker GoTo System

The StarTracker hand controller knows over 100,000 objects and positions the telescope automatically. Servo motors on both axes then track accurately. Via the ST-4 port, you can later connect an autoguider for long exposures. The EXOS-2 supports 13 kg, photographically around 8 kg: more than enough for this tube with camera.
