The Bresser Stellar 60/800 AZ is a complete entry-level refractor that also enables safe solar observation. The included objective solar filter covers the entire aperture, allowing you to track sunspots and partial solar eclipses.

The 60 mm lens with an 800 mm focal length (f/13.3) provides calm images of the Moon and the bright planets. With a 20 mm you view at 40x, with a 4 mm at 200x. For a sharp image, keep about 120x as a practical maximum. During the day you observe the sun, exclusively with the undamaged solar filter on the objective. Only use a solar filter if it is undamaged and never look at the sun without certified protection.
