The TeleVue TV-85 is known for exceptional optical performance in an extremely compact format. With an 85mm aperture, 600mm focal length (f/7.1), and weighing only 2.7 kg, this is the true all-rounder for the advanced observer: as a travel instrument or as a lightweight, serious addition to an existing setup. This classic is available in two factory finishes; this is the version with item number 69121.

Color correction of lasting class

The apochromatic doublet with high-quality glass types delivers a sharp, high-contrast, and virtually color aberration-free image: fine lunar details, tightly separated double stars, and, under a dark sky, surprisingly much deep-sky detail for this aperture. Photographically, the tube works excellently with TeleVue correctors. A practically useful magnification is up to about 170x. You choose the eyepiece and diagonal yourself.
