The travel APO: TeleVue quality in a backpack format

The TeleVue TV-60 is an exceptionally compact apochromat for the advanced user who wants to combine maximum portability with top-tier optics. With a 60 mm aperture, 360 mm focal length (f/6), and a tube length of approximately 25 cm, it fits in a backpack or carry-on luggage, ready for dark sky observation sites and daytime nature observation.

Wide image, natural colors

The apochromatic doublet delivers a field of view of up to about 4.3 degrees with natural color reproduction and high contrast: large star fields and open star clusters at their finest, and a sharp, clear Moon. For planets, 60 mm shows basic details; the strength of this tube lies in its wide field and the all-metal, refined finish. Realistically useful is up to about 120x. You choose your own eyepiece and diagonal, as is customary in this class.
