Omegon ProNewton N 254/1250 OTA 254mm Newtonian: 10-inch with fan and fine focus

The Omegon ProNewton N 254/1250 is the largest ProNewton tube: 254 mm BK7 mirror with 94 percent reflection, a primary mirror fan with battery compartment and a 2-inch Crayford focuser with 1:10 reduction. Ten inches of aperture means globular clusters break down into stars and galaxies show structure.

The thin spider vanes of the secondary mirror holder keep diffraction low: stars remain sharp and contrast high.

Ventilator 1:10: the details that matter

The built-in fan quickly brings the large mirror to ambient temperature, so the image is at its sharpest sooner. The 1:10 fine focus makes precise focusing routine, even for photography. The 8x50 optical finder, extension tube, and 1.25/2 inch adapter are included.

Count on a sturdy mount in the EQ6 class; this tube rewards stability with higher class images.
