Omegon Pro RC 304/2432 - large RC truss for professional astrophotography
Take your astrophotos to the highest level with the Omegon Pro RC 304/2432. This Ritchey-Chrétien truss telescope delivers a large, coma-free field of view. Stars remain round and sharp to the edge, ideal for professional observatories or advanced amateurs with large-format CCD cameras.
Sharp, clear and stable
Hyperbolic main and catch mirrors provide an extremely sharp image and large field of view, without a corrector. Quartz mirrors maintain stable focus, insensitive to temperature fluctuations. Thus, your images will always remain perfect.

Fast thermal balance
The honeycomb structure of the main mirror and open carbon-truss design allow the telescope to cool faster. Integrated fans minimize tube seeding and get your optics ready faster for razor-sharp photos.
Large 3″ focuser
The 3″ Linear Crayford focuser with ball bearings accommodates large sensors up to 60 mm. Rotatable, with reduction to 2″ and 1.25″, includes 1:10 fine adjustment and scaling. The camera sits exactly on the optical axis, without tilting. This keeps your shots sharp and precisely aligned.
Open truss design made of carbon
Light, rigid and thermally stable. The open design prevents microclimates inside the tube and guarantees optimal ventilation. Ideal for long exposures with a professional camera.

Better than SC telescopes
No corrector plate means no internal reflections. Brighter image, faster temperature adjustment and higher contrasts. Ritchey-Chrétien systems are the best corrected twin mirror telescopes - sharpness to the edge of your field of view is guaranteed.
Advanced professional optics
Hyperbolic mirrors were once only available to observatories. Now you can use the same technology for your own observatory with this RC telescope.
What we recommend
✓ Moon: sharpness good, but less suitable for large field
✓ Planets: excellent detail
✓ Deep-sky: large, coma-free image - perfect for galaxies and nebulae
✓ Astrophotography: ideal for large CCD and DSLR sensors
✗ Sun: not suitable without special filters
✗ Beginners: not recommended
