Celestron Maksutov Telescope MC 90/1250 NexStar 90 SLT GoTo is a compact and easy-to-use telescope that delivers high magnifications in a portable design. Thanks to its Maksutov-Cassegrain optics with 90 mm aperture and 1250 mm focal length, this telescope provides sharp, high-contrast images of the moon and planets, while the closed tube keeps out dust and turbulence.

The system features SkyAlign technology, which makes alignment easy: point the telescope at any three bright objects, enter location and time, and the computer automatically recognizes the sky. Using the multilingual manual controls, you then navigate to more than 4,000 celestial objects. The database and control can be updated via the Internet, so you always have access to the latest features.

The NexStar 90 SLT is mounted on a lightweight but stable single-arm fork mount with servo motors and electronic position sensors. The telescope can be powered by 8 AA batteries or an external 12V power supply (optional).

Application
This telescope allows you to see detailed structures on the moon, such as craters and mountain ranges. Planets such as Jupiter with its moons, Saturn with its rings and Mars with polar caps are clearly displayed. The 90 mm aperture is limited for faint deep-sky objects, but bright nebulae such as the Orion Nebula and open clusters such as the Pleiades are visible.
