De lichtste GoTo-Maksutov: hoge vergroting, klein pakket

The Celestron NexStar 90 SLT is de compactste computergestuurde telescoop van de SLT-lijn. De Maksutov-Cassegrain van 90 mm met 1250 mm brandpuntsafstand levert scherpe, contrastrijke beelden van Maan en planeten, terwijl de gesloten buis stof en luchtturbulentie buitenhoudt. De hele set is licht genoeg om in één keer naar buiten te dragen.

SkyAlign: uitlijnen op drie willekeurige objecten

Richt de telescoop op drie heldere hemellichamen, voer tijd en locatie in en de computer herkent de hemel automatisch. Via de meertalige handbediening navigeer je daarna naar ruim 4.000 objecten, met automatische tracking. De oculairs van 25 mm en 10 mm leveren 50x en 125x; realistisch bruikbaar is tot ongeveer 180x.

Wel: de balkonwaarnemer en reiziger die met minimaal gewicht maximaal planeetdetail wil, volledig computergestuurd. Niet: wie deep-sky objecten wil zien; daarvoor is de opening te klein en het beeldveld te smal. Kies dan de NexStar 130 SLT of een Dobson met grotere spiegel.
