The Zoomion 76 mm EQ (Voyager 76 EQ) is the choice for those who want more than just looking. With this Newtonian telescope, you learn not only to observe the Moon and planets, but also how to manually track celestial objects using an equatorial mount. An important step toward real astronomy.

Sharp and high-contrast

The 76 mm primary mirror collects over 100 times more light than the naked eye, and the long focal length of 900 mm (f/11.8) produces sharp, high-contrast images: the Moon with impressive depth, Jupiter’s cloud bands, and, under good conditions, Saturn’s rings.

EQ-2 mount: tracking with a rotary knob

Align the mount with the North Star and you can smoothly keep objects in view with a single control knob. Exactly what you want for practicing at high magnification on planets or the Moon. The 20 mm, 12 mm, and 4 mm eyepieces offer a wide range and the 2x Barlow lens doubles it; realistically, a useful magnification is up to about 150x. The aluminum tripod is height-adjustable.

With the Omegon Smartphone Adapter 25 to 48 mm (14.90 euros) you take your first Moon photo through the eyepiece. The bright Moon requires short shutter speeds, so the lack of automatic tracking doesn't play a role there.
