William Optics 68 AP 68/260 - Compact astrograph for fast shooting
The William Optics 68 AP 68/260 is a compact, powerful apochromatic refractor designed specifically for astrophotography. The 7-element quadruplet lens with FPL-53 glass gives you sharp, clear images. Full-frame cameras are fully utilized, so star fields and nebulae look stunning.
Fast results with short exposures
A fast f/3.8 focal ratio allows you to use short exposure times. That means less motion blur and faster results. Ideal for deep sky images, but also suitable for Moon and planets.
Internal focuser for precise focusing
The internal focuser is smooth and precise. You can fine tune it with 1:10 reduction for precise focusing. Everything is rotatable for easy adjustment of your camera or eyepiece. Compatible with electronic focusing such as ZWO EAF.
Compact and practical design
Despite its 68 mm aperture, the Pleiades 68 is light and easy to carry. The handle makes transport easy. The telescope supports Vixen/GP prism beams and can carry William Optics viewfinders or tracking scopes. The included transport bag protects your instrument on the road.
Supplied complete for astrophotography
The Pleiades 68 comes with Bahtinov focusing mask and adapters for CCD and DSLR cameras: M48 and M54. With optional T-adapters you can use it on Canon, Nikon, Sony, Pentax, Fuji or Micro Four Thirds cameras. Everything you need for fast, clear shots.
