Transport packaging of foam for Sky-Watcher AZ-EQ5 mounting, Styropack | Oklop

A mount that you can use both azimuthally and equatorially often goes with you to different locations. That’s when you want it to stay in place in the car. This AZ-EQ5 transport packaging made of foam, the Styropack from Oklop, keeps the Sky-Watcher AZ-EQ5 firmly in place during transport and dust-free during storage.

Remove the counterweights and counterweight bar before assembling the unit, and secure the axes. Store the cables and hand controller separately so that there is no pressure on the connections. Store the packaging in a dry place away from heat sources, as expanded polystyrene can deform at high temperatures.
