Omegon Pro 114/456 Newtonian Astrograph OTA Carbon: the smallest carbon astrograph
The Omegon Pro Astrograph 114/456 Carbon is a pure pocket-sized photo-Newtonian: 114 mm parabolic mirror at f/4 in a rigid carbon tube. Short, light and fast: large nebula fields in short exposure times, on mounts that larger astrographs won't even fit on.
Carbon barely expands or shrinks with temperature changes: the focal point stays right where you set it at night.

Mechanics that does its job
At f/4, precise collimation is the key to round stars; with a laser collimator, it is done in minutes.

Featured accessories
The Omegon laser collimator (44.90 euros) keeps the mirrors aligned; every Newtonian should have one in the drawer. The Omegon Pro UHC 2-inch filter (89 euros) brings out emission nebulae under light skies, and the Omegon Powerbank 10k 12V (39.90 euros) powers the mount and camera on the go.
For whom yes, for whom no
Who: astrophotographers with a lightweight mount who are looking for a fast, stable travel astrograph. Not: those who also want to observe visually; this tube is built for the camera. Look at the ProNewton line instead. Hesitating between the models? The Choice assistant helpt. More Omegon is on the merk page.
