The Omegon Horizon N 114/500 The Horizon line's large-aperture telescope features a 114 mm parabolic mirror with a short focal length of 500 mm (f/4.4). It captures complete star clusters in a single view, finds objects quickly, and all of this is mounted on the smooth AZ-Bellavista mount with the full photography package.

The Horizon accessory package is complete: LED finder, 25 mm and 10 mm Plössl eyepieces, 2x Barlow lens, extension tube, smartphone adapter, and a Bluetooth shutter release for vibration-free photos.

Parabolic plus Crayford

At f/4.4, a parabolic mirror is not a luxury but a necessity: only with it do stars remain sharp to the edge. The Crayford focuser focuses without backlash, even with the smartphone adapter mounted.

With the Plössl eyepieces, you observe at 20x and 50x, and with the 2x Barlow, up to 100x. This is intentionally a wide-field telescope: nebulae, star clusters, and the Moon are its domain.

Featured accessories

The Omegon laser collimator (44.90 euros) keeps the mirrors aligned; every Newton should have one in its drawer. At f/4.4, regular collimation is really necessary. The Omegon UWA 20mm eyepiece (59 euros) provides 25x magnification with a 66-degree wide-field view, and an Omegon Premium moon filter (19.90 euros) dims the bright Moon.

Never look at the sun through a telescope without a certified solar filter: this will cause permanent eye damage within a second.
