Omegon Dust Caps - Keep your telescope clean and ready to use
When you're not using your telescope for a while, you don't want dust and dirt to have a chance. This 8″ dust cover neatly seals the opening of your telescope. This keeps the inside clean and preserves your image quality. You put the telescope away and know it's protected.

Suitable for popular 8″ Newton and Cassegrain telescopes
The dust cover is designed for commonly used 8″ OTAs from Omegon, Skywatcher and Vixen. You simply place it on the tube. It sits securely, but is quickly removed when you want to start observing. This makes it ideal for use in the dark.

Extra grip for comfortable use
There are ribs on the sides that provide extra grip. You especially notice this on cold nights or when wearing gloves. The hood is made of sturdy plastic and can withstand daily use and transportation.

Adjustable for a snug fit
Each telescope tube is slightly different. Therefore, you can lightly sand the ridges on the side to refine the fit. In the winter, the hood often sits a little tighter, which actually helps keep everything well sealed.
