Vaonis Vespera Dual Band Filter takes your astrophotography to the next level. Designed specifically for the Vespera smart telescope, this advanced narrowband filter optimizes the observation of emission nebulae, planetary nebulae and supernova remnants.
The filter accurately isolates the emission lines of Hydrogen Alpha (H-alpha) and Oxygen III (O-III), the two main wavelengths in which nebulae emit light. By allowing only these signals through and blocking disturbing ambient light, much higher contrast is created. The result: sharper stars, more defined structures and impressive details in deep-sky objects.
The Vespera Dual Band Filter is ideal for objects such as the Orion Nebula (M42), the Heart Nebula (IC 1805), the Horsehead Nebula, and the Elephant's Trench Nebula. Planetary nebulae (Owl Nebula M97, Halter Nebula M27) and supernova remnants (Veil Nebula, Crab Nebula M1) also benefit from increased brightness and contrast effects.
Thanks to an integrated electronic microchip, the Vespera automatically recognizes the filter and adjusts the telescope's observation and imaging parameters. The filter is fully matched to the Vespera's optics and guarantees a perfect fit with no loss in image quality.
Application
Perfect for astrophotographers working with the Vespera who want to extract maximum detail from emission nebulae and supernova remnants, both in urban areas with light pollution and in dark observing locations.
