Omegon 203/800 Pro Astrograph Carbon OTA: more aperture, the same discipline

The Omegon Pro Astrograph 203/800 Carbon combines 8-inch light-gathering power with the fast f/4 class: plenty of signal in a short time, with enough image scale for galaxies and compact nebulae. The carbon fiber tube and CNC mechanics keep everything in place, exposure after exposure.

Carbon barely expands or shrinks with temperature changes: the focal point stays right where you set it at night.

Omegon Pro Astrograph 203/800 Carbon Newtonian
The 2-inch Rack and Pinion focuser of the Omegon 203/800

Built for long exposures

The 2-inch Rack and Pinion focuser with M56 connection supports heavy camera trains without sagging, and the Losmandy dovetail provides a wide and stable connection to serious mounts. Dust cap and finder base are included.

Count on an EQ6-class mount; anyone who has that base gets a deep-sky machine with an excellent price-to-photographic-performance ratio with this optical tube.

Included

  • Newtonian astrograph 203/800
  • Carbon tube
  • 2-inch Rack and Pinion focuser with M56 and 1:10
  • CNC tube rings
  • Losmandy dovetail
  • Dust cover and finder foot

Featured accessories

The Omegon laser collimator (44.90 euros) keeps the mirrors aligned; every Newtonian deserves one in the drawer. The Omegon Pro UHC 2-inch filter (89 euros) brings out emission nebulae, and the Omegon Powerbank 10k 12V (39.90 euros) keeps the complete setup powered for a whole night.

For whom yes, for whom no

Well: advanced astrophotographers with a heavy mount looking for maximum deep-sky speed per euro. Not: anyone working mobile or on a light mount; the 154/600 or 114/456 Carbon are better suited for that. Doubting between the models? The Choice assistant helpt. More Omegon is on the brand page.
