The Levenhuk New Skyline PLUS 6 inch is the entry-level size of the Skyline Dobsonian family, which ranges up to 16 inches. The 152 mm parabolic mirror with a 1200 mm focal length (f/7.9) delivers sharp, high-contrast images of the Moon, planets, and bright deep-sky classics, and the long tube is forgiving of simple eyepieces and collimation.

Immediate and complete, expandable later

The 25 mm and 10 mm Plössl eyepieces provide 48x and 120x; realistically usable is up to about 304x with an additional eyepiece or Barlow. The red dot finder makes aiming easy. If you want more later, you can grow within the same series to 8, 10, 12, or even 16 inches.
