iOptron SkyTracker Pro Mount: Ultra-compact tracking mount for your camera
The iOptron SkyTracker Pro lets your camera follow the stars for sharp, pinpoint stars during long exposures. The head weighs only 1.5 pounds and fits in any camera bag: this is the lightest way to get tracked photos of the Milky Way and starscapes.
The 3 kg (6.6 lbs) load capacity is sufficient for a system camera with a wide-angle, standard, or short telephoto lens. You can mount the tracker on any tripod with a 3/8 or 1/4 inch connection; a threaded adapter is included.
The adjustable alt-azimuth mount (30 to 65 degrees) with a spirit level makes the setup suitable for all of Europe, in both hemispheres.
Align with the illuminated polar finder
The AccuAlign pole finder has an engraved reticle with illumination in eight brightness settings. Together with the corresponding app, you can position the North Star exactly in minutes.
After alignment, the tracker follows the sky all night, silently and smoothly.
Four speeds, 24-hour battery life
Choose star speed for point stars or half star speed to keep both landscape and starry sky sharp. Sun and moon speeds are also available, and the quick framing function helps crop your image.
The built-in rechargeable battery lasts up to 24 hours at 20 degrees Celsius and charges via micro-USB, even on the go with a power bank.
