iOptron Counterweight Set for SkyTracker Pro: balance set for the SkyTracker Pro

With this set you balance a heavier camera setup on the SkyTracker Pro. From a load of approximately 1.2 kg, for example a mirrorless camera with telephoto lens, the counterweight keeps the tracking mount in balance.

The set is complete: 1.35 kg counterweight, counterweight rod, mounting rail, and mounting screw. Assemble and photograph.

Why balance

A well-balanced SkyTracker Pro tracks more smoothly and causes less wear on the motor. This translates directly to sharper stars at longer exposure times with telephoto lenses.
