The MiniPier raises your iOptron mount 178 mm above the tripod. This allows the telescope to rotate freely around the legs, even at low viewing angles and around the zenith, and the eyepiece or camera is positioned at a more comfortable height.
The extension is made of coated metal and comes with a top and bottom plate and several screws (M6, M8 and 3/8 inch-16), so it fits most iOptron combinations. Not suitable for the Tri-Pier 360/360A and fixed columns.
