Planeetspecialist: 150 mm Maksutov with 1800 mm focal length
The iOptron 150/1800 Maksutov-Cassegrain is designed for those who are ready to take the next step in lunar and planetary observation. The 150 mm aperture and long focal length of 1800 mm (f/12) deliver steady, high-contrast images with a large magnification: crater detail, Jupiter’s cloud bands, and Saturn’s rings at their best.

Sealed, collimation-stable design

For whom yes, for whom no
Ideal for advanced observers and planetary imagers seeking maximum image scale and contrast in a compact, low-maintenance tube. Not for those wanting wide deep-sky fields; f/12 with a 1800mm focal length is not suited for that.
