If your camera or eyepiece is not sharp enough because you are missing the focus distance, you can move the focus lever further from the tube. This 3.35-inch focus lever extension from Starlight Instruments is placed between the focus lever base and the focus lever. This moves the entire focus range outwards, and that is more sturdy than an extension tube in the pull tube.
Risers are available for different focus size, so before ordering, check that it fits your focus lens and focus base. a reflector of the Newton type Furthermore, a higher-positioned focus lever means that the viewfinder is less exposed to the image field.
Also measure how much extra reach you really need outside, because you lose just as much reach inside. First, get it right with your current setup and see how far the extension tube extends out.
There is also an increase in the size to 4 inches, and for 2 inch focusers there are separate increments for 2 inch focusers.
