If you attach a new, lower-powered focus lens to your telescope, the focus point may sometimes be out of reach. This 25.4 mm (about 1 inch) focus lens adapter from Starlight Instruments moves a 2-inch (about 5 cm) focus lens further from the tube, allowing you to get back into focus.
The increase occurs between the focus ring and the focus ring and shifts the entire focusing range outwards. An inch is a common step when changing focus rings. You can find loose models at Focusers for telescopes.
Even if the eyepieces don't come into focus because the extension tube is already fully extended, an increase can help. First, focus properly, measure the range you're missing, and choose the magnification that fits best. Don't go higher than necessary, because you'll lose the same amount of range inwards.
If you miss by just a few millimeters, then look at The increase of approximately 0.65 inches. If the difference is greater, then there is The 1.4 inch increase.
