The favorite optics, fully unleashed in photography
The Celestron EdgeHD 925 CGEM II The beloved 9.25-inch EdgeHD optics provide the mounting that fully utilizes its potential. The flat, coma-free field of view keeps the star point visible all the way to the edge of large sensors, and with 1127 times more light than the naked eye, this system delivers both visually outstanding and publication-worthy astro photos.
EdgeHD technology in brief
Corrective lenses in the baffle, mirror locking against movement, and ventilation openings for quick cooling. The quiet C9.25 optics excel in the range that Dutch air allows, usually around 300x for planetary work. With the optional f/7 reducer, the system becomes faster for deep-sky shots, and the CGEM II carries the entire system with camera and guide well within its 18 kg limit.
The CGEM II Mount: Room for Serious Photography

The mount operates on 12V; a power tank is the logical addition.
