The planetary specialist on an equatorial mount!

The Bresser Messier 150/1200 Hexafoc EXOS-1 is built for detail. The long focal length brings the Moon, planets, and double stars into view with stability and high contrast, while the EXOS-1 mount tracks them with a single slow-motion movement. The included objective solar filter also enables safe solar observation.

Bresser N 150/1200 fully mounted on EXOS-1 tripod with white telescope tube and counterweight, ready for observation.

f/8 optics with Hexafoc

The 150 mm parabolic mirror captures about 459 times more light than the naked eye. The long focal length of 1200 mm (f/8) provides high contrast at high magnification: exactly what you want for the Moon, planets, and double stars. With the 26 mm Super Plössl eyepiece, you’ll achieve 46x magnification; stick to approximately 300x as the maximum. The 2.5-inch Hexafoc focuser with adapters provides stable support even for heavy eyepieces. Use the solar filter only if it is undamaged, and never look at the Sun without certified protection.

The EXOS-1 mount

The EXOS-1 is an equatorial mount of the EQ-4 class. After alignment with the North Star, you track objects with the slow-motion cables. If you want automatic tracking later, an RA motor is available as an upgrade.
