Omegon 254/1016 Telescope - Superfast f/4 astrograph for impressive deep-sky photos
The Omegon 254/1016 Telescope is made for astrophotography with maximum impact and minimum effort. Thanks to its f/4 aperture ratio, this telescope captures an enormous amount of light. That means shorter exposure times and faster results. Ideal if you want to capture faint galaxies, emission nebulae and fine structures without endless exposures.
More light, more detail, less waiting time
The 254 mm parabolic main mirror has a high-quality 94% reflection coating. Thus, hardly any light is lost and your images remain clear and rich in contrast. Faint details in hydrogen nebulae stand out better and stars remain sharply defined. You simply see more, even in your photographs.

Large field of view without shadows
The extra-large capture mirror ensures even exposure of the image field. Even with DSLR or full-frame cameras, you won't get distracting vignetting. That makes this astrograph perfect for vast objects such as the Andromeda Nebula or large emission nebulae. You also benefit visually from a wide and clear image with 2″ eyepieces.
Compact design, less demands on your mount
Because of its short build length, this f/4 astrograph is about 20% more compact than a comparable f/5 Newton. That means less weight and less load on your mount. So you can work with a medium-sized mount without sacrificing performance. Small tracking errors are less noticeable, making photography more relaxed.

3-inch focuser for heavy cameras and large sensors
The large 3″ focuser with linear ball bearings remains stable even with heavy cameras and accessories. Your equipment won't tilt and stays exactly in focus. The 1:10 fine adjustment helps you focus accurately, keeping stars nice and round. The large inner diameter prevents shadows at the edge of the image, even with large sensors.
Finished faster thanks to active cooling
The built-in 12V fan cools the main mirror up to 50% faster. Your telescope reaches its optimal image quality faster. Less waiting, faster photography. Exactly what you want during clear nights.
Supplied complete and ready to use
The Omegon Pro Astrograph comes with tube rings, Vixen swallowtail, extensions and a main mirror fan. Everything is designed for practical use and quick set-up. All you have to do is add your camera and mount.
