This motor set motorizes both axes of the EQ3-2. The mount will then automatically follow stars, the moon, and the sun without manual adjustment. For visual work, this means stability; for photography, it's the basis for longer exposures.

The difference with the standard motor set is the ST-4 autoguider port: connect a guide camera and the RA and DEC axes will be automatically corrected during exposure. This turns the modest EQ3-2 into a serious photography platform for light optics.
