The Levenhuk New Skyline PRO 12 inch Retractable It combines a full 304 mm parabolic optics with a foldable truss tube. When collapsed, this twelve-incher fits into a standard car trunk; when extended, it delivers the same 1886x light gain as the fixed version. This makes the dark night sky outside the city accessible even for a large-aperture telescope.

From trunk to first light in minutes

Extend, lock, and briefly collimate: the setup is a routine of a few minutes. Primary mirror cooling and the 8×40 optical finder are part of the standard equipment. A shroud around the open truss keeps out stray light and dew; we recommend that addition for the edges of cities.

For whom yes, for whom no

For: The deep-sky observer who wants to see the most and regularly travels to dark locations. Not for: Those with a permanent setup; the fixed PRO 12 offers the same optics more affordably.
